Frederick Water is governed by a five-member board. The board regularly scheduled meeting is the third Tuesday of each month at 5:00 PM. Meetings are held in the board room of Frederick Water’s office at 315 Tasker Road, Stephens City, Virginia. These meetings are open to the public. Each member of the board is appointed at large by the Frederick County Board of Supervisors and serves a four-year term. Frederick Water’s board appoints the engineer-director who is responsible for daily management of Frederick Water. The board members elect a chairman, vice-chairman and secretary-treasurer. These elections are held the first meeting in May and the offices are held for one year.
